
Tanner A. Maybury focuses her practice on protecting and advocating on behalf of injured workers in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Stern & Cohen, Tanner was a Workers’ Compensation Staff Attorney for an insurance company in New Jersey representing employers. Tanner decided to change career paths and utilize her knowledge and background in defending employers to represent injured workers against insurance companies.
Tanner graduated cum laude from Rutgers University-Camden in May 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Legal Studies. Tanner earned her law degree from Widener University Delaware Law School in May 2022. During law school, Tanner was actively involved in school organizations. In her final year of law school, she served as the Executive Board Secretary for the Women’s Law Caucus, First Generation Law Student Association and National Lawyers Guild. Tanner was also accepted into the Environmental Law Clinic as an intern where she gained firsthand experience summarizing discovery and drafting permit appeals. Additionally, she participated in directed research under Professor Robert Hayman focusing on disability law.
Tanner enjoys spending her free time with her family and traveling.
