Shelby V. Troy is a committed attorney with a focus on protecting and advocating for injured workers in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Stern & Cohen, Shelby served as an Assistant District Attorney for the City of Philadelphia and as In-House Counsel for a large commercial real estate company, Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust, where her work focused on document drafting and negotiations.

Education

Shelby graduated magna cum laude from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in December 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. Shelby earned her law degree at Widener University Commonwealth Law School, graduating cum laude, in May 2021. While in law school, Shelby participated in the Moot Court Honor Society and served as a teaching assistant for Legal Writing I & II, while also earning the CALI Award in Legal Writing. Shelby’s academic career and prior work history have provided her with the drive and experience to fight on behalf of injured workers who cannot fight for themselves

When she is not at work, Shelby enjoys traveling the globe and spending time with her family and friends.
