Tricia Hemphill is a dedicated advocate committed to protecting the rights of injured workers throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Tricia brings years of hands-on experience with the firm to her practice, having worked at Stern & Cohen throughout law school before joining as an attorney.

Education

Tricia earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Temple University, with a minor in Criminal Justice. She earned her law degree from Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law, where she served as Lead Research Editor of the Drexel Law Review and as a Law School Ambassador. In law school, Tricia demonstrated her commitment to community service through her volunteer work with the Philadelphia Family Court Help Center and the PLSE Criminal Record Expungement Clinic.

Early Career

Prior to joining Stern & Cohen full-time, Tricia worked as a law clerk with the firm. From this experience, she developed a strong understanding of the workers’ compensation system and a deep commitment to advocating for injured workers.

Additionally, she served as a judicial intern under The Honorable Judge Richard Lloret in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, where she observed legal proceedings and drafted judicial opinions. Tricia also worked as a research assistant to the Honorable Mark Bernstein, compiling and analyzing Pennsylvania case law interpreting the Federal Rules of Evidence.

In her free time, Tricia enjoys watching the Phillies and trying new restaurants.
